Dayanand Sopte after having lied to the people of Goa that he and Subhash Shirodkar had unconditionally joined the BJP has now spilled the beans revealing those four conditions he had imposed while his friend Vishwajit Rane paved their entry into the BJP. Sopte has however not disclosed that the fifth condition was about the cash component that he and Subhash Shirodkar received for that Bungee jumping. And as Sopte was lured to join the BJP on being assured a cabinet berth, it’s a clear case of bribery.
Vishwajit Rane even before becoming the Health Minister had the proficiency in the engineering of Political coffins. Ironically when Subhash Shirodkar was the President of Goa Pradesh Congress, Vishwajit Rane on Sept 30th 2011 had got the then BJP MLAs Dayanand Sopte and Rajesh Patnekar to embrace the Congress. Eight years later the very same Vishwajit Rane ably designed the political grave of Subhash Shirodkar and Dayanand Sopte by getting them to suicide into the saffron party. So the writing is on the wall, that for a politician wanting an obituary, nobody can match Vishwajit Rane. With the people’s outrage against them only intensifying, there is no doubt that that the political prostitutes Dayanand Sopte and Subhash Shirodkar will be politically thrashed at the ensuing by-elections to the Mandrem and Shiroda constituencies.
