Mea culpa. The current tallest structure in the world is the Burj Khalifa (Burj Dubai rechristened after Khalifa of Abu Dhabi bailed out near-bankrupt Dubai).
The Burj will soon be beaten by Saudi Arabia’s 3280 ft (1,000m) structure.
