PARRIKAR MUST RESIGN Stephen Dias, Dona Paula 9422443110
Contrary to opinion being circulated in the media that Parrikar should be allowed to take rest, I must stoutly oppose this perception. Parrikar should resign as Chief Minister of Goa and then take as much rest as he wants. Parrikar is not indispensable and politics will settle down to business-as-usual as also the succession to the CM post will be resolved. For too long Goa has been held hostage and governance in Goa has been at a standstill. Parrikar should immediately tender his resignation so that Goa can settle down to the business of serious governance unhindered. Even President's rule is better than this non-governance limbo. The government is not a plaything. Enough is enough. Stop this charade and let Goa begin life under a new CM whomsover HE or SHE may be.
