An elderly Goan described new CM of Goa saying: "The 21st new CM of Goa is
2nd Cheap Minister after Pratapsing Rane with added differences. He is 1st
non Goan, 1st Representative of Migrants, 5th South Goa dweller, 2nd
Madgaonkar, 2nd Saraswat and 1st MLA of Margao to become the Chief Minister
of Goa. His track record proves that he is highly opportunist, highly
ambitious, deceitful and unpredictable backstabber. He pretends of listening
to every one. He keeps his house doors open 24 hours does not mean he is
approachable any time of the day and helps everyone anytime. His never says
NO to anyone does not mean he does every ones work. He undertakes as well as
delays public projects for his personal gains. Can any one think that person
with such qualities will ever clean out corruption and corrupt politicians?
Will he ever float out River Princesses or maintain it as showpiece?"
He continued saying "Second week of June 2007 all dailies carried headline
reading "New CM toured Margao and Sonsodo with fleet of government officials
in heavy rains to study the conditions" Does anyone think so? No dear
friends it was a tour conducted by Digambar Kamat in heavy rains with HALF
pant to impress upon Madgaonkars that he has become CM of Goa and that now
on its going to be 'My Ship ..My order' when in reality Dhawlikars and Ranes
are real captains of Goa Ship. Is he not fully aware of prevailing
conditions of Margao and Sonsodo? Parrikar wore khaki half pant as
compulsory dress code to attend RSS meetings while Digambar being cheap
minster with difference wore HALF pant to impress people!
Being resident next to Muslim mosque Digambar is seen greatly influenced to
follow Muslim Kings tradition in acquiring his dream position as CM of Goa!
He first backstabbed his original mentor in Narsinha Damodar Naik (Babu
Naik) who actually brought him into politics. Thereafter he made Pratasingh
Rane his second mentor only to back stab him. Later he ditched Manohar
Parrikar at crucial time bringing down his government. Right this time he
crushed Ravi Naik's assured dream in connivance with Dhawlikars and Ranes.
He did all these backstabbing at the crucial time only to cut of the oxygen
supply of his mentors resting them on death bed! Will anyone like such
highly opportunist backstabber?"
