Raul P.M dream The BJP is jolted from deep slumber and their avowed dream for a long haul and desire here to stay,.After the landslide win in Lok Sabha, their eyes were set for 2019 and beyond and assured themselves of a second term without resistance. Initial victories in some states were positive signs of hope and support , but decimation in Delhi elections pricked the bubble of invincibility. Congress mukth Bharat is now turning to be BJP mukth Bharat much to their dismay,.BJP stalwarts en mass are picking on slightest of utterances of Raga to criticize him. Rahul no where has even given slightest inclination of his desire to head the party. Now as the party President, the choice is but natural. Whether Stalin proposed or disposed, it hardly matters to the congress party and its policies. Manmohan Singh, then P.M had publicly said that he is holding the fort for Rahul and willing to relinquish at his bidding, He even invited him to join the party, which he never did. It was opposition that accused him of running from responsibility then. When he had all the opportunity to take on the mantle, he declined. If he was so avaricious and hungry or the post of P.M that was the most opportune moment and which he abandoned. The absence of Rahul at gathbandan meet in Bengal is favourite past time , punching bag of BJP to shatter his dream as they call it. BJP after losing elections in heartland States in the North is in jitters and is afraid of ominous signs on the wall. If the unity of opposition is of no consequence to the formidable strength of BJP, why then cry foul, that unity spells chaos or that it will last 6 months, and personal aspirations, ambitions only unite them? Why BJP is worried about P.M candidate of the opposition.? The truth is that BJP has no other candidate for the post of P.M or even close to it other than Modi. In fitness of things unity of opposition should best be ignored ,rather than denigrateor harping on Rahul`s ability to wear the crown. BJB is mortally threatened at such a prospect turning into reality. Remember Indira Gandhi , Rajeev Gandhi were never in reckoning for the post, but were forcibly drawn into the leadership role and did justice to their responsibility trust on them by circumstances. The people of India have not shown or are clamoring that Rahul is a fit or natural choice to the post. The entry of Sonia Gandhi into politics was also on similar lines. The BJP is only worried about of Rahul Gandhi, because it justifiably perceives him as real treat in relation to other vocal contenders from opposition parties . There are potential leaders like Mamta Banerjee, Akilesh Yadav, Mayawati etc who have shown appetite to P.M post, but BJP never ridicules or belittles their aspirations, why?
If Rahul is considered to be so insignificant, then why is the BJP worried, going hammer and tongs against Raga? A weak candidate should not worry BJP to invest their political resources to denigrate him at every step The truth is that BJP seeing the obvious signs and hence resorts to all vigorous efforts to consolidate their position by major onslaught on Gandhi family. Will the strategy work in coming elections? The mood of Nation is showing signs of discontent of being cheated on promises on various issues like demonetization, cow protection, intolerance, unemployment, minority persecution, crimes against women , &reservations, patriotism, interference in judiciary, CBI, Reserve bank, failure to appoint Lok Pal , make in India, swach bharat, housing for the poor, steep price rise on fuels and in general on daily commodities etc The hopes and aspirations of voters in 2014 have been dashed against rocks of reality by only speech diet.
