In what raises many eyebrows, Curtorim MLA Alexio Reginaldo Lourenco is the only MLA to have been allotted a separate office with all facilities at the Goa Legislative Assembly.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar knows the tricks of the political trade and artfully got Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant to allot Reginaldo that unprecedented office so that he is kept in good cheers. So is all the current criticism of this government by Reginaldo only superficial and for the gallery, as now the Opposition MLA Reginaldo is a clear beneficiary of the ruling party’s largesse. No wonder Reginaldo was on stage yesterday for the inauguration of the Third Mandovi bridge despite his Congress Party having alleged that the new bridge was a ‘Bridge to Corruption’ and ‘Bridge for Corruption’. It is very obnoxious that Reginaldo has stooped to such levels. Is Goa Forward going to be his next destination? Will Reginaldo be soon consigned as Curtorim’s former MLA?
