Rossman Cruz Nagoa SC scored a thumping 4-0 victory over CAC SSC
Cansaulim to move to the quarter finals of the 15th All Goa Guirdolim
Panchayat Cup organized by Guirdolim Club and played at Chandor Church
Ground. The match began with CAC Cansaulim dominating proceedings but
their strikers lacked sharpness in front of goal.

Rossman Cruz Nagoa trounce CAC SCC Cansaulim
Rossman Cruz Nagoa SC scored a thumping 4-0 victory over CAC SSC
Cansaulim to move to the quarter finals of the 15th All Goa Guirdolim
Panchayat Cup organized by Guirdolim Club and played at Chandor Church
ground on Wednesday.
The match began with CAC Cansaulim dominating proceedings but their
strikers lacked sharpness in front of goal.
Rossman Cruz slowly found their footing and in the 13th minute a
Necessidade Moniz lob from the centre line was spilled by Cansaulim
keeper Prabhakar Kattimani to give Rossman the lead.
In the 20th minute Savio Fernandes's try from top of the box was
brilliantly save by Kattimani. Rossman were a awarded a free kick on top
of box in the 28th minute which was beautifully curled over the
Casnaulim wall by Myron Fernandes giving no chance to the diving
Kattimani. The score remained 2-0 at half time.
Changing over Cansaulim tried hard to find the equaliser by committing
more men forward but it was Savio Fernandes of Rossman Verna in the 42nd
minute, dribbled past three Cansaulim defenders and scored a beautiful
individual goal to make the score 3-0. Christo D'Mello drilled the last
nail into the Cansaulim coffin when he scored from an angle with a
curling shot to make it 4-0.
