Madhushree Ghosh’s essay is a very touching one; a lost yearning for a past that was like a ship once with a firm direction that has since lost its compass and its anchor.
Not to criticize Selma Carvalho’s The Joao Roque literary Journal, but if she found writing like this, it would take her compilation to another level. Currently her journal looks like it is faking it before making it, supposedly well known authors notwithstanding. Selma has been a cyber friend for decades but I cannot help feel disappointment in the JRLJ whenever I read something really worthwhile elsewhere. Roland.
