Dear Reader,
WordsUp is an inter-collegiate event oragnised by the Department of English, St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa. This is our third edition of the event. This event is literature oriented and aims at a celebration of all things wordy. Our event last year went national under the guidance of the faculty of the English Department and saw participation from colleges all over India. Our theme last year was ‘cartoons’. This year the theme is food. Writers'Corner is the curtain raiser to WordsUp and features writer's talking about their work and a panel discussing literary topic.
