A very interesting rendition of Konkani mandos in the Mangalorean tradition.

Note the Portuguese surnames, the Indian dress, the South Indian postures and 
Konkani dialect of Karnataka state.

One can almost visualize Catholics from Goa fleeing their homes southwards, 
integrating with the local Hindu population who welcomed them and yet 
stubbornly clinging to the Goan culture of their ancestors.
