Thanks Armand for that wonderful trip down memory lane. It brought back many a happy memory of my childhood days spent in what was then 'unspoilt Goa'. You've covered almost every aspect of what life was in those care-free days. I can still recall the days when our village tailor came home and sewed any number of garments - not just shirts, shorts of even pyjamas - but also pillow cases and bedsheets or whatever else he was asked to do- and all this, for a mere song!
