The easiest, surest and cheapest way to solve the North Korean threat to the
world is to merge it with South Korea.
There is history to prove this works:
East Germany merging with West Germany.
North Vietnam merging with South Vietnam.
American withdrawal from the Korean peninsula would be enormously helpful to
the Koreans, the Americans, the Chinese, and not to mention the rest of Asia
Of course America can always get back to that region of the world, if the need
arises, within a few hours by jet fighters and bombers; and within a few days
by Aircraft carriers and destroyers from its Pacific basin.
How difficult is this to understand for all the smart foreign policy
think-tanks?  Perhaps the sensible Canadians can promote this thinking and
Trudeau can get the Nobel Peace Prize.
