After watching some of the recent Brexit debate, I began wondering whether my eyes were playing tricks on me. Is the House of Commons really so small, smaller than even perhaps the Goa assembly?
This query on Quora suggests that my vision might not be at fault: https://www.quora.com/Why-is-the-UK-House-of-Commons-so-small-and-overcrowded And some photos from the Net: HOUSE OF COMMONS: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2a/House_of_Commons_2010.jpg/1200px-House_of_Commons_2010.jpg THE GOA ASSEMBLY: https://www.flickr.com/photos/fn-goa/172534218/ Of course, big is not necessarily better. You know we in Goa have this proclivity to waste a lot of government (taxpayers') money down the drain, especially over state projects. Including superfluous ones, like three bridges, two assemblies, multiple offices for the same purposes, etc. And then, the Goa assembly meets for hardly any days in the year too! Your comments?
