A common way in America to "Have Fun - Make Money - Promote a cause" is to have a "Madness Dinner" event / competition / festival - of a specialty meal like Meat Balls, Chicken Riggies, Chicken Chilli, Pizza, etc.. And there are festivals celebrating and highlighting spices like garlic, ginger and chilies, etc., and fruits like apple, strawberry, etc.. Here was a recent competition event held in our town. Similar contests are held for wines, beer and other drinks. The contestant groups are restaurant / chefs / pros; and homemade cooking. The consumers are of course the locals and tourists who buy a ticket. Plan now. Summer and holiday season is coming up fast.
