May 1968 - France is swept by a wave of student movements for greater Socialism. The fire of liberation engulfs Western colonies; notably here the Portuguese colony of Angola. When immigrants are known to have only economic loyalties to their adopted country;*Sita Valles,* the vivacious and fearless daughter of Goan origin immigrant parents in Angola, studies to be a doctor and immerses herself wholly into the liberation movement. For this she pays the ultimate price. Brutalized and shot to death without a trial by the same political party and ideology she was staunch member of; Sita Valles is a classic case of “*Revolution swallows its own children*”.
