The Pentecostal Church style of worship seems to have penetrated Goan Catholic village churches.
Whether this is due to a “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” strategy or whether they find it easier to rouse the flock with the active hand waving exhortation of the Protestants I don’t know. The only way one can recognize this as a Catholic Service is the occasional reference to Mary.
