I am too of the opinion that educational matters should be best left to the
academicians themselves, and politicians should not be allowed to fix
curriculum, such as introducing English for fifth class of vernacular
students, etc, or force students to watch VCD or whatever, by interfering in
academic matters.
So in principle, I agree to what you have said.
