Under a joint initiative led by Superintendent of Police, North Goa, Smt. Chandan Choudhary, IPS with Human Touch Foundation, a community outreach programme to create awareness on drug abuse will be launched at Our Lady of Merces High School, Merces at 11.00 am tomorrow, i.e. 22nd June 2019.
The awareness programme will have several eminent speakers, including Superintendent of Police, North Goa, Smt. Chandan Choudhary, IPS, Chief Executive Officer, Human Touch Foundation, Mr. Peter F. Borges and Dr. Rajesh Patil, Head of Department for Emergency, Trauma and Medicine, Goa Medical College and National Awardee for Outstanding Contribution in the field of Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse 2018. *Kick, *a prize winning film from the short film competition “Get High on Life”, organized by Human Touch Foundation, will be screened on the occasion. Several such programmes will be conducted across the North Goa district during the year.
