ZERO ACTION AGAINST A LOT OF THINGS (Corruption in the background) With democracy receding into the background and no Opposition worth the name, transparency and accountability is fast changing color! A simple thing like laying service lines is getting messier with zero action against those causing immense loss to the exchequer and public suffering. All service lines seem to be laid in one trough, be they telephone, water, electricity, crossing sewage lines with pot holes and debris strewn around. If there is digging for one service checking or repair, all other services are damaged disrupted. I have written many times and brought to the notice of authorities the need for inter departmental coordination and drawing of layout diagrams so that new departmental personnel can know better how to ensure one service access does not destroy/disrupt others! But there is zero action since there is no punishment or consequences for such loss of money, time, unnessary labor and disrupting paying citizens lives! Same applies to erratic/high voltages damaging our equipment and resultant sufferings of public, but who cares for the public besides lip service?Once elections are over, there is nothing they can do except beg the authorities for action or approach the overburdened courts and burden themselves further!
