THE COLORS OF JUSTICE
These days there is swift justice by mobs and another type of justice for VIPs
and those in power! The Kanwar Yatra with police overlooking blatant lawless
behavior of the devotees is shocking. Never before were such yatras with hordes
blocking the roads for public movement, incumbants on two wheelers all without
helmets, police from helicopters showering petals, ganga and drugs freely
available and consumed, as seen live on TV, police with blind eyes obviously
with state connivance! BJP Uttar Pradesh MLA Kuldeep Sengar was arrested and
jailed in April last year for Unnao rape of teen age girl in June 1917. Though
in jail, it is alleged his men continually harassed her family to withdraw the
case. Her father was arrested by a trumped up charge by his brother, 3 Cops and
5 others, and died soon after in jail under judicial custody!To date no FIR was
filed due suposedly on going police investigation. The victim girl was supposed
to be under police protection, but it turns out the police were reportedly
giving her whereabouts to Kuldeep's henchmen.The family was constantly living
in fear and now that a truck with blackened registration plate rammed the car
carrying the rape survivor's family and lawyer, killing two aunts and severely
injuring her and her lawyer now under ventilator and ICU respectively, a FIR is
lodged only now and MLA suspended! He is still in the party.The alleged attempt
of delay in justice as per lawful procedures, no police protection worth the
name, free hand to harass and wipe out the family under the watch of Yogi
Aditynath as Chief Minister, who reportedly is the same caste as Kuldeep, a
powerful money and muscle power force shows clearly the colors of justice . A
BJP MLA's daughter asks for police protection from a court as she feels
threatened by her father /family for marrying a Dalit. The party does not
censure the MLA and appears to be sanctioning moral policing. With a partisan
police, we have umpteen examples of what the law will take its course means.
