From: Dom Martin:
In much of the Global Hemispheres, art and architecture is synonymous with
culture. In Goa, it is acculturated with indifference.

GL responds:
So what have artists and architects done to promote their work along with Goan
culture?  I am not saying that is an easy undertaking.  One is likely to
receive more  resistance and criticisms from the fidalgos than from the
plebeians.
And majority will say, "You come to Goa and do it."
One solution to connect Goan architect with Goan culture is to build a 21st
Century Goan basilica for its son-of-the-soil Saint Joseph Vaz.  This endeavor
should also enjoin Native with Diaspora Goans.
