FAO:- *Mr. Aleixo **Reginaldo Lourenco *(MLA for Curtorim, South Goa) Dear Sir, Many thanks indeed for raising the topic of the criminal exploits of Ajju Sindolli in the Goan Assembly earlier today (August 7th) . On behalf of everyone fighting to try and put Sindolli in jail, I urge you to continue to pursue this matter to the best of your ability, in the interests of proper justice for the State of Goa. *With that in mind, I kindly request that you question the Chief Minister as to why no action is being taken against Sindolli for a blatant offence committed in contravention of the Passport Act, 1967**, with the clear involvement and collusion of certain police officers.* I have already provided the relevant authorities with all the documented evidence that should be required to prosecute successfully, but nonetheless, no meaningful action has been taken against the culprit. The police higher-ups are fully aware of the facts, as are the CM and Chief Secretary,. So who exactly is protecting Ajju Sindolli and why? Sir, I am sure you will agree with me that corruption is one of the biggest problems in Goa and in India in general. I am giving you an opportunity here not just to jail a habitual cheat and con-artist and make an example of him to others, but also to point the finger of guilt at some of those in power who have been protecting this crook. It is very unfortunate that people like Rohan Khaunte have been made fully aware of Sindolli's antics, but have taken no meaningful action against him. This is despite the fact that, in this particular case, both Ajju Sindolli and one of his victims, Andrew Rodrigues who you mentioned today, are (or were both) Rohan Khaunte's constituents. *You should maybe ask Rohan Khaunte, therefore, why it has been necessary for a South Goa MLA to intervene and bring this matter properly into the public eye.* Once again, I commend you on your efforts. Please keep up the good work. Let's see some proper justice in Goa for once! And let's hope that it leads to a few small steps forward in the fight against corruption. Best regards, David N. Cleaver (UK)
