Hi guys,
With reference to the post below. Please get a life and get real. If
possible please also try and read 'Gods debris' by Scott Adams. It's freely
available online. Hindus, Christians, Muslims etc. As kids we have been told
that all these are paths to the same God. Now what is it that makes you
people squabble over religion? Like I've mentioned in a previous post, just
accept that there exists a supreme force and get on with life. Why waste so
much energy in trying to establish the superiority of a name?
Please do not confuse politics (rather administration) with religion.
Politicians are able to manipulate people only because in each and every
religion exists a feeble being who needs someone to 'protect' his faith. So
it does not matter if we get a tainted politician to safeguard our cause.
After all without religion we would die, right. I can just picture God
laughing from above.
Just understand. We are all Indians. And we are human beings. Period.
Religion today is a mere farce and a mockery of its teachings at best. As a
goan Roman catholic, I've heard and seen enough. No educated person in
his/her right senses will be subjected to this nonsense. What we need to
understand is that religion is purely personal. And we should learn to keep
it at that. All throughout religion has only been manipulated by man, and
the results are something we are witnessing.
Bottomline: Cease the outbursts. Just lead your own lives without bothering
whom your neighbour prays to.

Hi,
I would not have entered this Religious Debate if it was not for the
Parrikar's RSS and his BJP party banning Easter in Goa, Holy Easter/Good
Friday is on par with Ganesh, (Christmas is NOT called HOLY, just
Christmas).
Hindus can call Kali Mata (the human blood drinker) a goddess, and have a
public holiday in Bengal; why did Parrikar pick on Christian HOLY day?
Kamlaksh will be correct to put the wrong right and stick to the point, HOW
& WHY THIS DEBATE STARTED in the first place.
And, Bhandare will do us a favour and confess that there is NO hypocrisy
regarding St Francis Xavier and paedophilia in the Catholic Community.
1. St Francis Xavier did not kill any human - the military during his time
did, just like Hitler who did not kill any body, the Germans did (Hitler was
Austrian), just like Poonam Devi (Bandit Queen) did not kill any body. St
Francis like Rama is Innocent of killing Mythical Ravana or people in Goa,
their associates did.
2. Paedophilia exists, it is not hypocrisy.
FINALLY, LET ME SAY THAT STOPPING GOOD FRIDAY HOLIDAY IS NOT THE ACT OF GOOD
PEOPLE.
