STEPHEN DIAS 9.10.2019 DEAR SANJIT RODRIGUES COMMISSIONER OF CCP PANJIM GOA [08/10, 09:09] Stephen Dias: I attended the meet at CCP hall yesterday and 2 main things were decided by corporators unanimously for Commissioner of CCP Sanjit Rodrigues to act soon which he agreed. One is abandoned vehicles on roads and other no casino licence will be renewed after the expiry of existing licence. Also sewage tankers issue where they discharge sewage into to S.Inez plant and excess overflowing into St.Inez creek. These tankers are crowding on roads of St Inez area near the plant as well as inside the premises of STP plant which needs to be taken to task. We all know that some of these sewage tankers collect sewage from Casino parked at Mandovi river and are loaded and transported at odd hours through the city and also coming from 5 star hotels of all over Goa. More issues have been discussed except CoP issue. I and Dr.Joe and some few stake holders were present but we were not suppose to speak as per the norms and this meet was specifically for their corporators and ex Mayors and their CCP staff. The builder and the owner Mr.Gill has used CCP connection and influence the authorities for construction of illegal building because intentionally the house taxes was paid to CCP INSTEAD OF PANCHAYAT for selfish interest where they managed to get all kind of approvals. Even ODP new line is drawn for their own interest bypassing old one for change of jurisdiction. If Taleigao panchayat is not taking action , court is the only option. See how 8 floors are coming at residential area and having front line road hardly only 4.5 meters width. TCP office tells me is 10 metres on their record. This appears to me a sort of scam or fraud.May be having intention to provide shelter for casino girls which may lead to prostitution? This is a clear case of manipulation to other similar projects coming up nearby by tourism dept at the slope of Dona Paula- Bambolim main road. I demand a full fledge enquiry into these projects if not CBI. Taleigao Sarpanch Agnelo Cunha needs to act for this irregularities with CCP and TCP in consultation with Babush Monserrate present MLA who is promising to help us once his Chairmanship orders are issued. Let us see what they do before we go to court. CoP is another issue where only Dr.Joe is fighting in the court by himself and none of GCZMA members and experts have given him proper support . Also some of writers who only claim that they are writing on this issue but none of them have solidly objected to this building construction which every body knows it is in the river and was done with the blessing of ex-Defence Minister and ex MLA of Panjim Manohar Parrikar and nobody objected for this plaque right at the CoP jetty itself which is inaugurated by Parrikar himself.
