CM MUST HONOR DEMOCRACY Government conceived projects short circuiting checks and balances vital in a democracy must be challenged. We certainly do not want to land up like Delhi where people cannot breathe or Mumbai like concrete jungle or sanction destructive Ilegal mining, casinos in the Mandovi river, shacks destroying beaches etc which are the government's perspective! The BJP has given all NGOs a bad name and shooting the messenger hastily will destroy Goa for short term gain. Getting Information Department to manage the State's image through propaganda for vested interests will be seen through in the long run! It is reported that the CM has rejected proposal on Fisheries Corporation without citing any reasons. Development for the so called greater good of mankind (that also a certain class) is not being tolerated by nature as can be seen from the climate change floods, cyclones, cancer proliferation, Dengue etc and ineadequate infrastructure adds to our woes. The mandate given by the people for the BJP Shiv Sena in Maharashtra is being disrespected. It is now upto the electorate to back the few NGOs who are out on a limb fighting your battles!
