It was gratifying to read about a life of a good man and good citizen. Dr.Rama Ghodecar is a Salcette natural who opened a medical practice in rented premises in Aldona fifty years ago. He rented the home of the late Prof. C D Pinto at the same time. Appolnario Pereira lost in court when he attempted to reacquire the clinic property which Dr. Ghodecar subsequently sold to a builder. He continues to occupy the Pinto residence in spite of persistent requests by the family. It is a shame that we do not encounter the likes of a Dr. Naique too often in public life.
