Strategy of BJP to obliterate opposition The openly stated policy of BJP is India mukth Bharat. It is significant as Congress is a National all India Party, which alone possesses challenge to BJP .The local , regional parties are easily amenable, manipulated in a small circle, The lure of office incentives, threats, position, power and money blinds any disgruntled legislator to follow the path of least resistance .Legislators are short sighted, because they are unsure of their success at dustings. The threat of elections and dissolution sends shock down their spines. Hence make hay while sun shines is their only principal motives Hence the fights for loaves ofoffice in the ruling party is all too evident
In Goa, MGP on ideological plank join hands of BJP for short term gains, Over the years BJP eliminated MGP and finally abandoned it and sacked the lone members or made them desert their party. In Maharashtra Shiv Sena after 30 years have almost reduced their strength. They have taken over their strongholds and in the end after elections wanted to bend their will to follow their dictates .Shiv Sena realized too late the BJP wining on the wings of Sena. They *withdrew support from their ally and stood their ground on power sharing. BJP got their thinking wrong, believing that Sena will not be touched at least by Congress and Sena would track back to BJP.The dreams of BJP to be pan India party aere legitimate but misjudged and maculated. The mood over India over majoritism, pseudo Nationalism is coming to haunt the secular fabric of India* *In Bihar too winds are blowing the other way .Nitish too realizes the BJP strategy to slowly making him irrelevant. He has seen their plans and understood the trap set by BJP, getting a foothold in the State. In J&k one cannot understand how BJP could join hand PDP, But their intentions to run over PDP turned turtle and they withdrew from unholy alliance. BJP is in a great haste to usurp power by hook or crook by giving it a look of legality The regional parties are great hope of keeping in check the aspirations of the people and also ensuring development as per their local needs The time is not ripe for two party rule in India , The division of votes is what fuels the prospects of BJP dream of all India* *Another strategy is hunt the opponents through ED, I Tax and CBI. Police. It is but true that most of the politicians past and present have skeletons of corruption in their cupboards. So the Govt.in power have persistently dig low to unearth the truth. BJP seeks alliances to build their strength where their presence is doubtful West Bengal for instance .The Jarkand and Bihar elections are pointers taking cue from Maharashtra to be closed watched. Such strains of Majoritism are not in the best interest of secular India. Getting into alliance, Regional parties, favour of the day must be extremely cautious for short term gain and elimination from local political map of relevance* *Nelson Lopes Chinchinim*
