He spoke to reporters that he plans to balance this river by shifting it half of the casinos from Panjim jetty side to other side of river at Verem. What he thinks that Mandovi river is a fulcrum? Let him first clean this river from getting polluted and stop getting it released its sewage which overflows from St Inez creek at STP plant. Panjimite do not want casinos at all in Mandovi river and needs to send to the outer anchorage. We should remind him that at Verem side the water is shallow and chances of grounding these casinos is sure and to get it dredged our government is already gone bankrupt, for recovery Jr Viswajit Rane suggested for taking a loan and paying back to bank it advised auctioning some SEZ properties or may be vacant roads/spaces in the city and Pramod Sawant has agreed. Today's 5th December 2019 Navhind Times reported that Lobo aims for equilibrium of river Mandovi by shifting three casinos to other side of Panjim jetty. This exercise of shifting or balancing the river is just an excuse to keep casinos permanently in the river Mandovi.
