*PRESS NOTE* 2019 will be remembered for French students at St Xavier’s College Mapuca as a historic year that began a French Connection Exchange Programme between Goa and France. In July 2019 ten students and two teachers from the college travelled to France and were hosted in family homes in France. Between Normandy, Brittany and Paris, the students learnt a lot about French culture. Now it is Goa’s turn to host the French students. They arrived yesterday and will see the best that Goa has to offer. The Museum of Goa, visit and lunch at Pilar Seminary, Goa Chitra Museum, the Mapuca market, Old Goa, Panjim, the Figuereido House, lunch at the Taj Fort Aguada, Goa University, Goa International Centre, The Bishops Palace and Fundacao Oriente, the French and Goan students have a sensory Goan cultural treat in store for them.
