ARE WE ALL STUPID ? Th government started with NRC in Assam. This elaborate and expensive exercise found around !.9 million not eligible and reportedly most of them were Hindus! So the BJP brings in CAB, bulldozing it through Parliament despite stiff opposition since they have the numbers, power and wherewithal to do so. But only those facing religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh except Muslims! The crowds protesting all over India are not Congress or political entities (though all are making use of them no doubt), but people from all walks of life who say enough is enough of acting first and thinking later.They do understand security of the nation and their priorities! The religious bias is quite clear and are we still a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic or not? The government it appears does not believe in right to discent and anyone who does is anti national or thinks like Pakistan! It is not only CAA but right from demonitization to lynchings to protected BJP MLA Kuldip Singh Sengar who almost wiped out the poor girl's family after rapimg her, the shocking Unao rape cover up by BJP MLAs and even lawyers and the high handed arogant behavior of the Serving (NOT RULING) party in power. People are angry. I thought we threw out our lasr rulers on Liberation Day 58 years ago! The PM now says NRC is not even discussed at variance with his HM statements even in Parliament! We have a Constitution and Parliament and will not tolerate unchecked dictatorship and police highhandidness in our democracy!
