JAVADEKAR SHOULD BE CONSIDERED PERSONA NON GRATA Stephen Dias, Dona Paula
The Union Minister of Environment and Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Prakash Javadekar should understand that he is not welcome to come to the state of Goa as long as the Mhadei water dispute imbroglio is not solved to the benefit of the interests of Goans. He should not be invited, hosted or welcomed in any way. This extreme action has to be resorted to since the print media has revealed that Javadekar had hoodwinked the Goans because of the by-polls in Karnataka deliberately in order to ensure that the BJP rebels were elected much to the detriment of Goa. He tried to favour Karnataka only so as to promise the people there for electoral gains, which otherwise would have unseated the BJP government in Karnataks It has been published that the diversion for the Khalsa-Bhanduri project which has been allowed in the guise of being a drinking water project is in fact being diverted to meet the irrigation needs of Karnataka. Javadekar is thus deemed to have betrayed the people of Goa for the sake of political gains for the BJP in Karnataka. He is deemed to have lost credibility of being a union minister unable to act with integrity.
