Regards Stephen Dias Dona Paula 9422443110 DOUBLE PARKING NUISANCE IN THE CITY Stephen Dias, Dona Paula Since the advent of high rise buildings in the city and the fact that almost every person in Goa has four wheeler or a two wheeler the cases of double parking in the city roads has become a nuisance of big magnitude. These vehicles are parked on either side of our narrow roads and to add to the inconvenience of motorists, double parking of 4-wheelers by leaving the tail light or an emergency lights "ON " with the drivers mostly leaving their vehicles with the steering wheel even in the hands of minors and women who do not possess licences the traffic police do not resort to clamping of the vehicles wheels causing congestion in almost the streets in Panjim. In fact the drivers of the four wheelers go for shopping or for their work in various offices in the city causing traffic snarls in the street of Panjim, sometimes bringing traffic to a halt for even short duration. The traffic police should take strict action against those who violate double parking norms in the city streets. Congestion and inconvenience caused to the smooth traffic in the city requires to be acted upon in a very strict manner. Stephen Dias Sent from my Samsung device
