Fall out of Delhi elections The BJP deployed an array of leaders, Ministers, Home Ministers, P.M hundreds of MP`s and CM and financial resources on a massive campaign in a State elections. Their dreams to power are shattered by a demeanor Mr Kejriwal. He rightly maintained his cool composure and patience and refused to swallow the gauntlet thrown at him as a terrorist. The vitriolic , toxic campaign, hate speeches, violence, spewing of venom did not resonate with voters. Never in the history of Independent , democratic India was the election the bar of campaigning was so low, without emphasis on work or vision but enmity, vulgarity. BJP resorted to old cards, short term methods, bigotry, extreme pseudo Nationalism with diminishing returns. Kejriwal mantra of work done, faith of the masses in welfare measures, rattled the BJP and it had no alternative to counter well orchestrated campaign with key planks like education, water electricity, free bus rides for women, right to raise issues in a civilized , sophisticated manner and guarantee card for next term., Goli maro rants antagonized voters further, The conspiracy theory at Saheen bhag. Muslim factor and Pakistan card too failed miserably The bugle of 370, 35A,CAA, NPR, NCR , Ram Mandir were non issues. The provocations, polarization rhetoric in isolation, without CM face did not pay expected dividends. The election commission censored many a BJP members and temporarily banned from election campaigns, but BJP has arrogantly failed to caution mischief makers or take them to task. For their brazen remarks which have backfired. The over dependence on Modi wave in state elections has its limitations, in spite of his popularity.
AAP may have lost, fared badly in Lokh Sabha, Municipal elections, but has managed to defeat convincingly as the BJP juggernaut hits Kejriwal wall of invincibility. Jhadoo sweeps to power, as ballot triumphs over bullets. AAP gains 62 seats with increase percentage of 54% % vote share and margin of wins in some constituencies is large and convincing. AAP win is mandate for good governance against hate speeches,. BJP has lost recently in state elections by a dip of 17%, which is a trend. The seats won by BJP in Delhi are due to swing of votes from Congress , though there is increase of 40% in BJP vote share. .AAP has attracted voters across all spectrums the rich , middle class and the poor marginalized The might of BJP against AAP had to bite the dust because of extreme ideologies, campaign based on violence and hatred .Congress is decimated, lost deposits in 67 seats, as it was no challenge either to AAP or BJP. May be the trend is moving towards two party system in near future The Kejriwal model on issue based campaign, work accomplished ,refusal to be drawn into controversies on personal front, speculated is a sign or future election strategy.
