Aloha, Re: "Social Problems are Design Problems"
If the organisers/Kokum had phrased the title as 'social problems are _partially_ (or _also_) design problems' I would completely agree. Now my reservation is that it rather suggests a 'techno-solutionist' (-Evgeny Morozov) approach, where the political is avoided, and hence the social evacuated in the end.
This said this festival looks nice and I wish participants and organisers interesting and enjoyable days.
