US Taliban peace pact The USA has kept its election promises to bring back their troops before start of next elections Unfortunately Afghanistan Govt .is not a part of the deal India is attending as an observer Pakistan is nt directly involveled .The period of test is spread over 14 months t take peace initiative forward The Afghanistan will not a base for terrorists activities. The Taliban and Afghan Govt, will work on a compromise to give effect to peace plan It is an expectations that largely depends on the parties to conflict .The USA presence of 19 years is fighting someone else’s war with loss of its citizens and millions of dollars down the drain contributed by USA people. The Afghans war of 14 years has brought down its economy and its people living fear and depravity The goals are noble only if Afghan and Taliban see reasons and better good of Nations forgetting its long hostilities and animosities towards each other The USA will maintain diminished forces on the ground and reserve its fire power There is no doubt that USA will not reinforce its presence in case the peace plan falls apart That responsibility will be entirely on the shoulders of parties to peace compromise
Pakistan will lose its bargaining power with USA to bleed in terms of funds for fighting terrorists. No doubt that the relations will be compensated indirectly. USA has been soft in condemning Pakistan during visit of USA President to India recently. For India is a matter of serious concerns as displaced terrorists will pour into India with open arms and support of Pakistan ISI USA has rightly washed its hands as the only Nation to prop up Democracy India is being prodded to put boots on ground, which has been negated by Govt. The industrial support by India and rehabilitation process is assured to be continued for a limited period .If the peace plan works as compromise between Taliban and Afghan Govt. it will lead to prosperity of Afghanistan if the mistrust and hostilities are reinvented. But for sure the USA role in Afghanistan is over Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
