If you see 8 of my posts appearing in a row, it’s not because I am swamping the board but because those posts were missed by the moderators over the past few days. This is the second time such a thing has happened within a short while.
I am not complaining. I have been a moderator and I know once missed, there is nothing they can do except ask you to repost again. So that is what I do and if you find yourself in such a situation, wait for a couple of days and repost like I did. Being a Goanet moderator is a difficult task because the system used for this ‘bulletin board’ may have its advantages, but it’s as creaky as a car well beyond its years. For every post that is moderated, there are 25 or more spam emails that have to be deleted and sometimes the real ones can be erroneously deleted during that process. Roland. Toronto.
