Finally, common sense rules the day, and our government needs to be congratulated for having this quality which everyone is supposed to have although I doubt it.
The people of the state of Goa can now buy essential commodities, as milk and vegetables without any tension or fear of getting bashed by our policemen who we are told are there to protect us. Infants - pups and people - will not starve and possibly die because the people cannot get to the food in the shops. Lockdown. Of all the people who sell food supplies my heart goes out to the people who sell sweetmeats. While the vegetable vender can always share and eat his vegetables with his family, what will the seller of pedas, ladoos, and halwa do? My heart bleeds for them. They cannot eat a ton of sweets without getting diabetes. Now that we can shop it does not mean the corona virus problem is over. We need to be extra careful as we can now go shopping. Somebody wanted to build a wall around Goa to keep the corona virus and migrants away but he dropped the idea. Sometimes second thought are better than first.
