A prominent Apollo pharmacy in St.Inez -Panjim which is the official supplier of medicine and food supplements for NIO staff, pensioners and consumers that they unable to replenish their medicine stock as their distributors are unable to cope up the supply. They stated it was not possible to supply medicines at least up to Tuesday. This has caused shortage of essential medicines to the staff of the central government run NIO organisation. The government should immediately step in to remedy the situation and ensure smooth supply of medicine to NIO staff, especially life saving drugs.
