Snake Oil was started by Art Desaulniers of Winnipeg in Canada, as a tribute to the music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. They eventually settled on the 80’s since that was the last decade of really great rock music. They imitate the mannerisms and costumes of the artists they portray.
He has toured North America and his audiences comprise all ages. His daytime job is in telecommunications, playing in Snake Oil is only a part-time gig.
