IRRATIONAL PANDEMIC DECISIONS India is different from other countries inasmuch as population density, multi religious fervour of many different customs and traditions. The Corona virus is very contagious and can spread like wildfire. The richest nation in the world with the best healthcare system is desperately trying to control the spread. There is no known cure for it nor a vaccine and from experience worldwide, the best deterrent is social distancing and lockdown. Those who believe in God must realize that God has sent this pandemic in answer to our prayers! So no use praying further but it is action required to change our ways that pollute and destroy the land, air and water together with all the flora and fauna. Sadguru Vasudev has brilliantly surmised that the earth and we require the many virus and bacteria and all the pollination and creatures for our own survival! It builds our immune systerm. In fact the earth can very well rejuvinate itself (as it is doing now) and be better off without humankind and we can make a religion of the many fairy tales told to children. Let us pray for a new world so we survive this pandemic with lessons learned to live happily in a better world with love, tolerance and respect for the poorest of poor, daily wage earners so they and we never encounter such a scenario again!
