Thanks for pointing out the absurdity and utter
falsehood of Edwards post. Had I done so, Edward would
have called me RSS :-)
Like you rightly pointed out Parrikar merely made some
holidays optional
Anothe lie frequently tossed around is that only BJP
ruled states passed anti conversion bill
Facts reveal that MP passed such a law in 1967 (i
think), orissa and Arunachal pradesh (1978) TN
followed in 1992 All states were Non BJP states
Gujarat was the first BJP state and 5th overall to do
so and Himachal pradesh , a congress ruled state too
did so most recently
Yet this canard is spread that only BJP passed such
laws
