Condolences , sympathies to comfort his bereaved family

Sir Sandy ,a colleague, at Mount Marys High School Chinchinim in 1960,s. He
was a not professionally qualified Physical Education Teacher when he joined
He later underwent a condense d course .The school until then had to depend
on teachers from Belgaum and beyond and who did not fit with local
requirements .
Sandy had natural tendency towards the position. He was fluent in playing
trumpet .He managed to build a school band Which played at all school
functions. Some of his trainees later became professional musicians with
experience and skills transmitted in the school. The school sports received a
short in the arm .For the first time sports received a big boost and
appreciated by all .For the rest of his tenure sports at M M H S was keenly
looked forward to .The tradition continued therefrom .He left abroad for better
prospects after marriage and a family to care for. His training and
qualification as Medical pharmacists came in handy later
The generation of past students and surviving colleagues and parents will
fondly remember his contributions to physical education and music culture in
the village
He was a strict disciplinarian and conveyed this virtue very piously in all
his pupils

His memories will always be dearly cherished in our hearts and minds
