------------------------ It is no secret that if one planned to visit all the churches in Rome, spending a maximum of one hour in each church, one will have to set aside 67 days. I can hardly endorse the sentiment "Goa has enough churches", whereas it may just be opposite to be true. One of the finest example of two cathedrals standing side by side, almost leaning one onto another is in Salamanca, Spain. Cathedral Vieja de Salamanca (the old Cathedral) soars high into the heaven in its pristine Romanesque magnificence. The Cathedral Nueva (the new Cathedral) leans on north wall of the old, and built in the style of both Gothic and Baroque. Time stands still as one stands in awe and wonder in front of these two spiritual and architectural wonders. May be, in the Rome of the Orient, we should consider leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come. Abhar, Voznadik Vojem
