Hi Joe,

To my knowledge, there is no "Goddachem Fottfottem" but surely there is 
"Goddachem KHOTTKOTTEM",  the one we used to eat afer the Salvi in the 
church yard.  In Konkani language "khotkoto kaddunk" is to boil and the word 
"khottkottem" is derived from "khotkoto".  The boiling process and melting 
point you have mentioned is correct but the word 'fottfottem' is not.  Udkak 
'fottfotto' kaddinant - 'khotkoto' kaddttat.
