I would be grateful if anyone could send me a picture of the 'Sontri'
(umbrella) that is used at goan wedding celebrations. A brief description
of the decorative elements that adorn the sontri would also help.
Any special significance of the sontri and the elements?
P.S: I would also like to let all those who would like me to buy some books
from goan authors that your past salesmanship is excellent. I do have some
books on Goa and I will buy some more the next time that I visit Goa.
