DescriptionAndré Rieu is a Dutch violinist and conductor best known for
creating the waltz-playing Johann Strauss Orchestra. He and his orchestra have
turned classical and waltz music into a worldwide concert touring act, as
successful as some of the biggest global pop and rock music acts.

Hallelujah, written by Canadian composer, lyricist and songwriter Leonard Cohen
in 1980 is the finest example of a slow burning hit. It took years of work,
multiple revisions and a slew of voices to cement it as one of the most
powerful and hauntingly beautiful songs in contemporary music.

It is not a Christian or religious song although Cohen a believer, had a
complicated relationship with God. The most famous covers of this song were by
Jeff Buckley, John Cale, Rufus Wainwright and Bob Dylan
