They used to roam the streets of Lisbon in their long black skirts, with a
basket of their wares on the head. Now almost gone.

Hope you enjoy this fado which I am hearing on a bright and sunny Sunday
afternoon on the deck among the trees in the back yard of the Toronto
metropolis, with a light breeze rustling. It reminds me of similar June days in
a peaceful Goa village at the front balcony hearing the passing fisherwoman
shout out the day’s catch, hoping you will show interest in buying.

Deolinda de Jesus singing with accompaniment by Sandro Costa on Portuguese
Guitar and Ivan Cardoso on Acoustic Guitar.
