An excellent review of the Frederick Noronha-published book Sita Valles by you in the Kenya Awaaz journal, Adolfo.
Although I have not read the book itself (I will correct that) your review gave me a good setting of the background. I enjoyed it. I knew a little of the African political context from a young age, but enough to admire your grasp of it. By the way wasn’t it Mario Soares who followed Marcel Caetano in Portugal? There was a slight slip in your sentence construction making it appear as Franco. I am in due course going to read the Awaaz articles on Indian cinema and Goan bands in Africa. A cursory glance at them, tells me they will be interesting. https://www.awaazmagazine.com/volume-16-issue-3/book-reviews/item/1134-sita-valles-a-revolutionary-until-death Roland. Toronto.
