Now if only a similar piece of writing could come from Saligao, an ever more 
illustrious village.

In my opinion, I rank the following 5 Bardez villages on several criteria, 
including size, famous sons, myth, but most of all on renown.

While Salcette villages have their share of expatriates, most of the human 
legacy of these five villages have gone abroad.

2. Saligão
3. Moira
4. Siolim
5. Assagão
