For the first time in rcent Indian Hockey history, there has been no
Christian Goalkeeper among the probables for the India team announced
yesterday. This is a rare occurrence. And there are two Sikh Goalkeeper
probables. That is also a rare occurence, What is the reason for this
paradigm shift ? We need to have more goalkeeping camps/clinics in Bombay,
Goa, Chennai and Bangalore to keep up the unbroken tradition started by Leo
Pinto in 1948.

Goalkeepers: Sreejesh (TN), Mrinal Choubey (SAI), Pradeep Kumar (Air India),
Gurnam Singh (Punjab), Jawinder Singh (PSB), M Rinash (Manipur).
